  1. Hyper Point 2.0 information

  4. This is a fully functional UNREGISTERED COPY
  5. for evaluation use only.
  6.  
  7. This means that using this copy e.g. in education
  8. or in public presentation of hardware performance
  9. is NOT allowed.

  12. SETUP-information:
  13. ------------------
  14. Run setup from program disk (or directory). It is
  15. recommended to use default drive / path -settings.
  16. You can easily move the program directory to other
  17. location later -if needed.
  18.  
  19. If the program is moved or installed to other location
  20. you have to edit H-POINT.INI file manually and change
  21. default path settings.
  22.  
  23. FLI/FLC - Animation driver is on program disk. You can
  24. add the driver to your system through "Control Panel 
  25. - Drivers - Add  -procedure". Note: FLI/FLC -driver
  26. does not work on 286 PC or on standard mode of Windows.

  28. If you want to use Video For Windows (AVI) animation
  29. files, you have to have VFW-runtime player installed
  30. on your system. (Free) VFW-runtime is available e.g.
  31. from major Internet anonymous FTP-servers and from
  32. Compuserve.

  35. Hyper Point is easy to use hypermedia authoring
  36. and presenting tool for education, business and
  37. information desk sytems.

  39. * No programming skills needed for producing hyper
  40.   media (hypertext) presentation. If You can use
  41.   File Manager on Windows -you can learn how to use
  42.   Hyper Point on 5 minutes. For reading the use is 
  43.   even more simple.

  45. * You can use hypermedia as a real tool for
  46.   presenting information and now you can also
  47.   teach how to produce hypermedia and what is the
  48.   idea of hypermedia presentations.

  50. * Changing and adding information is easy.
  51.   No more expensive and out of date projects.

  54.   limited access classroom use (VGA resolution).

  61. QUICK START FOR USE
  62. -------------------

  64. * Write a short titled (Notepad) TXT-file and save
  65.   it to home directory of Hyper Point
  66.  
  67. * E-button is for Edit-mode -> You can make new hyper
  68.   links to your TXT-file.
  69.  
  70. * On Edit-mode select a word and press LEFT mouse
  71.   button -> select the new hyperlink for selected word.
  72.  
  73. * On Edit-mode do NOT select any text and press LEFT
  74.   mouse button. -> You can make automatic link.

  76. * You can change some basic (start) settings by editing
  77.   H-POINT.INI -file.
